Calculation method & sources
- Petrol: monthly km ÷ km/litre × price/litre. Electricity: monthly km ÷ range × battery capacity × (1 + overhead) × price/kWh. Engine oil and oil-change labour use the annual amount entered by the rider, divided by 12.
- Petrol consumption: an initial assumption of 45 km/litre. This is a simulation example, not a claim or test result for any brand. Adjust it to your own riding records.
